Go through the list of HITs to get an idea of the type of tasks available. You choose your own hours to work on the tasks and they are available 24 hours a day every day. All tasks are not difficult to complete but some HITs do require some qualification tests before you are allowed to accept the tasks. You can take a qualification test by answering a few questions provided by the requester. Most qualifications are approved instantly while others may take several days to notify you through email.

The time allocated for completing a task ranges from a few minutes to several days. You can view a HIT before accepting it. After completing the task, you will need to submit it and get it approved by the requester. The HIT that has been submitted will be reflected in your account summary with a Pending Approval status. The requester who posted the task will either approve or reject your completed task. Most HITs are approved within 24 to 48 hours and you will see your account balance credited with the amount for each task approved.
